Pastor Erik leads Portsmouth First Friends Church with a compelling vision: to transform our Portsmouth community with the church's mission: to meet people where they are with the hope and love of Jesus Christ. As Lead Pastor, he combines his Doctorate of Ministry from Liberty University and real-life experience to bridge the gap between faith and everyday life.

His personal journey from Navy veteran to spiritual leader shapes his unique approach to ministry. Through innovative programs like Overcome Impact Group, which provides spiritual and leadership development for young men, Pastor Erik is establishing ministries that serve both our congregation and the broader Portsmouth community. His focus extends beyond Sunday services to creating lasting community impact through outreach initiatives and discipleship programs.

Together with his wife Rebecca and their five children, he models family-centered ministry while championing the church's mission to reach the unreached. His leadership style combines compassionate pastoral care with practical spiritual guidance, making faith accessible to all who seek it.
